Having designed and built a website a few years ago for part of the Stuart Consulatncy business (Retro Restored Ltd), we were asked if we could update their other website. The site was built using flat HTML and the person who normally managed this for them was no longer around. As we had built the Retro Restored Ltd website using a Content Managementy System (CMS), to allow them to update the website themselves, we suggested this might be the best way forward for their other site.
It was agreed to use a CMS, but they wanted us to keep to the original design and layout as closely as possible, so we stuck to it as much as possible, but added the functionality they needed to maintain the site themselves.
