“The Bromham Show is a local event and has been running since 1948. A day for all the family to enjoy a wide range of fun and interesting activities, The Bromham Show aims to be ‘The Community Event of the Year’ for the village.
The committee decided that the show needed a website to provide information about this years events as well as previous shows.
We worked closely with members of the committee to produce a scope for a website that will enhance and extend the enjoyment of the day.
The website is packed with content which will allow the audience to find out more about the day. There are archives of previous shows with photo galleries of the day, prize winners and visitor feedback.
The website design has been created by Intrada Innovations and is inspired by the Bromham Show’s black and white logo.
The proposal was to create a fun and colourful website for the show. We started by transforming the logo. The logo incorporates all of the main elements of the original logo which represent different aspects of Bromham (the river, heron and Bromham Mill Wheel). To add some movement to the website, we animated the wheel within the logo. Whilst working with members of the committee, we realised the significance of the Bromham Bridge and wanted to include this in our design. We used this as the top navigation background.
We designed a bold footer, with the bromham village sign and a board with this years date (which can be easily edited by the committee members)
We have built bromhamshow.com on a Content Management System (CMS) so that any member of the committee can submit content easily. Latest News items can be easily posted into the news category by any authorised user.
The committee want to be able to add photos and news from each years show, so we have developed the website so it’s easy for this to be maintained.
